Sorento EX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 53,000 miles

Just had the oil changed at a Kia dealer. A couple of days later the oil light came on. Checked the oil and there was none in the engine. It was however all over the back of the car. Limped to a store, bought oil, filled it, drove home. The next morning there was no oil in the car. We had to call Kia to have it towed. Yes, they took care of the tow. The dealership did not have any loaner vehicles so they drove me to Enterprise Rental. We have only one car and live 60 miles from the dealership. No Kia did not pay for the rental. At first they said they would but now are sticking us with it. The dealer took the whole engine apart and told us that it had to be replaced and ordered a new one. It was two weeks when they figured out that the engine did not need to be replaced. The oil pressure sending unit was broken. I've never had a car with so many defective parts.
