Car was in drive way in front of garage. When put in drive, the car suddenly accelerated into garage door. Damaged front end of car, garage door and truck bumper inside garage. Fortunately, their were no injuries as the car only went about four feet before striking the garage door.
It just happened yesterday and we have not contacted Kia. I don't trust them anymore because two years ago there was a problem with my 2008 Kia Sedona engine which only had 29,000 miles on it and the Kia garage claimed that the car was not listed in their computer and I had to pay for the repair. I had all the paperwork and the Kia people refused to accept it. They said that the manager was not there and even the sales people won't tell me how to handle the problem. They said that I would have to get a lawyer.
I will was about to buy another Kia but after that kind of treatment, I would advise anyone not to buy a Kia product.
Has anyone experienced sudden acceleration on their Kia Soul?
