Steering wheel, while parked, makes a thunking noise. NO issues with steering. $150 to diagnose. Mechanic called said $400 to replace the coupling but could be more once they have it apart and something else if found. I have had nothing but issues with customer service at this location. Last repair for Tie rod issue cost me $1500 so had to take out a loan, had 3 weeks and no rental available

This should be a recall. Kia charged me $159.95 to "diagnose" the issue. Why when they know the clicking it's an issue! My warranty expired July 12th 2022. I took my car into the garage in September 2022 not remembering I had a received a letter back in 2019

After getting the estimate I located the letter in my car file. A copy was in my glove compartment but I had completely forgotten about it. I have only 64,800 miles on my car. Have emailed Kia but they will not issue a refund.

We've all seen the same issue on this site. That's how I found it in the first place. I don't drive a whole lot, so I don't think it's a safety issue as yet. I bought the $8 coupler and looked at the videos, and was wondering if this thing is so flawed, why do I have to break it down on a weekend to fix it.
