The Kia Soul has lousy traction in snow, sleet and ice. I had to put 160 Lbs of cat liter in the back trunk area last winter and this winter, I didn't have time to get it and yesterday I rear ended a vehicle going 10 MPR and braking for 2 car lengths. I now have a busted hood and fender and about $1,500 damage to my car and am afraid to drive the only car I have.
