Stinger GT-1 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 13,000 miles

Starting in March of 2023 when I first recorded this issue, there has been a grinding/binding sound coming from the front end of my 2022 Kia Stinger. It's currently unknown what the actual issue is, but the local dealership worked with a Kia engineer and is engaging their engineering team at Kia USA to try and narrow down the problem.

The following has been replaced and or looked into:

- Strut Mount Bearings - Struts - Wheel Hub Assemblies - Examined Body Welds on Frame (current investigation) - Examined Subframe Welds/Strength (current investigation, approved by Kia executive to replace if need be)

- Austin C., Green Bay, WI, US
