Telluride DX 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,807 miles

Was 1400 km away from my home with the family , and the car started to give me kicks wen shifting 7-8 speed.

I had to send back home my family by plain and I took the chance to go back home alone. The transmission didn't had symptom always , just from time to time, no message, no check engine light on. I started to use manual mode, was ok for a while but suddenly I had message on dash and check engine light on that the transmission have a problem and to bring to the dealer to fix it.

So waited 2 hours for the towing . Had to pay a hotel over the night , Bought to the nearest dealer, and they find that is necessary to reset the transmission and to change the transmission liquid. The bill wasn't covered by the warranty , I have a extended warranty on the car, so I had to pay it.(450$)

I drove the car back home, everything was ok, but I felt all the way some kicks, not so intense like previous but still had it. By me, sooner the transmission need to be changed.

So it was a little bit expensive the trip for us , so i look to change the car , for another mark.
