windshield cracking windshield cracking windshield cracking windshield cracking

My wife was driving the car, there was no semi's, no dump trucks.... nothing out of the ordinary... she hears a pop....(similar to a water bottle popping from temperature change), she literally looked at her water bottle to see if that is what made the noise... When she looked up, she noticed a small crack in the windshield. Over the next 4 days, we reached temperatures of 80+ degrees, (it is also very sunny with a lack of clouds...). During those days, you could hear the windshield kind of creaking and you could literally watch the crack expand down the windshield...

I have had ROCKS off dump trucks, CHIP, yes, I said CHIP my 2003 Honda Civics windshield and NEVER had it crack or fracture....

For the smallest pebble to crack a brand new 2024 Kia Telluride's windshield should be a massive embarrassment to this company.

Due to Kia's lack of cooperation... this is factor HIGHLY into my, very close, decision on what brand of vehicle I purchase next.

For a vehicle to be less than 5 months old, less than 8,000 miles, and a car manufacturer to have an ongoing class action lawsuit, AND STILL not accept any responsibility for defective and poorly manufactured glass is extremely disappointing.

I LOVED my Telluride... but this has led me to more than likely.... NEVER purchase another Kia.

I've only had this car a few months and a pebble I couldn't even see cracked my windshield. I feel like this windshield is not up to standards. I've heard others complain about the same thing. I think Kia should be responsible for fixing this.
