I have a rover 214 m reg 1.4 about a month ago my alternator went so i got another one and fitted it about a week later my car started losing power and the battery light kept coming on so i went and got a new battery thinking it was that as i had already replaced the alternator. Then about a week later the car broke down again with the same symptoms. I called the rac and they told me that my alternator had gone so i got another one and fitted it that was 3 days ago this morning. I lost all my lights and dash lights and indicators the lot and eventually the car conked out when i tried to start it again. The battery was flat so now I'm puzzled as to what it could be I've replaced 3 alternators and 1 battery in the last few weeks has anyone got any ideas as to what it might be? Thanks, Lisa
