I was driving down the road, suddenly the 'critical warning message' and 'brake' lights came on. The car lost power quickly, with the momentum the car ran few hundred feet to stop. Then, the word 'gearbox fault' and 'battery charge' appear. The engine still run, but I was completely stuck, could not rotate the gear. When I tried to turn on and off the engine and rotate the gear some time the 'critical warning message' and 'brake' lights came on and sometime the word 'gearbox fault' and 'battery charge' came on, but still could not rotate the gear. After 10 mins, suddenly, I could rotate the gear into neutral and push the car out of travel lane with the help of police officers. It happened two times, the first time (7/25/2016) just two days after I had the car (200 miles). After three visits, Land Rover said the problem was repaired with computer re-setting at the first time, then part replacement at the second time and finally computer setting at the last time. Now, the problem happened again on 10/8/2016 (3000 miles). I feel I am lucky. The first time, I was on outside lane on I-4 (orlando), I could get out of traffic quickly. The second time, I was on a local road: Sumter blvd. (North port), I could not get out of travel lane, but the car behind me had enough time to stop, crash almost happened.
