my navigation suite has 2 components that do not work
While driving for business, I access the Information Suite which houses weather and traffic information.
The system uses HD Radio for the information, switching this year from Sirius (which worked perfectly, but for a fee after 3 months).
In three months of ownership, I've driven from my home in Santa Barbara to: San Diego (4X) Scottsdale AZ, Las Vegas, NV (4X). I need these component(s) to work 100% of the time in order to avoid dangerous weather conditions and/or crashes or delays enroute.
THE WEATHER AND TRAFFIC INFORMATION DOES NOT WORK IN MY NEW $44,000 LEXUS !!!
I've had 5 Lexus mechanics and tech specialists look at it. I've had the Lexus area tech rep look at it. I've reported it to Lexus USA headquarters 4X.
They have all said "no problem with the system" . I have reported it as a lemon and I have a hearing tomorrow 4/12/16. I probably will return the car to Lexus and buy a competitor
