The rear right window won't roll down. The light flashes when you push it. The dealership said it was a relay... (it was like $200 to get it replaced) they got it to work for about two weeks, but its been broken for over a year. I'm not paying to fix it again.

About a year ago my right rear passenger window failed to operate. I took my vehicle to Lexus and paid for a maintenance check. The technicians reported that the window motor was defective and that it would cost $1200 to repair. While there talking with the Service Rep I noticed that the left rear window was now inoperable. When I inquired about it, the Rep said the Maintenance tech removed the left rear motor to troubleshoot the right rear motor. Then he had the Techs to look at the problem again. Upon completion of the job, suddenly windows were functional.

Late January 2013, three of the four windows became inoperable at the same time. The only operational window is the drivers window. I scheduled a service appointment at Lexus to get them fixed and was told the motors were defective need to be replaced.

As an engineer, I want to put these defective parts on record, because it is highly unusual for well made parts to fail at the same time. I have always thought of Lexus being fair and reasonable. I just want to know if other owners are experiencing similar problems with their 2004/2005 ES330?

problem with this is that it was a temporary fix. One window is stuck again. Lexus is good about it, but it has to be dealt with a 2nd time in just over a year. Otherwise the car is wonderful.
