Bought car used. Had been taking vehicle to local Lexus dealer in Madison WI for routine maintenance for over a year. Mentioned it is periodically stalling when slowing down & coming to a stop and seems to be going through oil quickly. Service manager tells me that there "was" a recall on the vehicle because of this, which he said has something to do with engine construction that causes oil buildup on valves, and that he's heard of full engines replaced because of it "BUT"..... I didn't complain about it before the recall ended "SO"..... there's nothing he can do under the recall, but they can charge me to flush the engine and see if it helps. I paid for the flush. It helped a little, but still happens.

How the heck is there an expiration date on a "recall"?! This makes no sense! Now, I am getting a VSC indicator & check engine light. I thought a Lexus car would be more reliable than this, their service departments was more customer oriented than this, and the company had more integrity than this. Appears it's not, they're not & they don't.
