My name is Ali Asiri, am a Saudi citizen who enjoys the luxury and reliance of Lexus as my daily transportation vehicle, however, two weeks after my complete periodical service of 160,000 KM on the 8/12/2017, my vehicle caught fire from the back side (the trunk of my car) with no visible vandalism as per the Civil Defense feedback and findings stating that it was an electric short circuit , hence the trunk was intact and the fire started from within. .
Even though I purchased my car with a 1 Million KM warranty ,or 6 years, our local agent has:
1- Refused to cooperate with me up to Lexus standards.
2- Refused to take any responsibility of the fire incident, even though, the Agent had fixed my car exactly where the fire started some two years ago due to an incident that took place back then.
3- No substitute vehicle were provided to me as am currently using public transportation.
4- Insisted that compensation ONLY done through the mother company.
Kindly note, I have never missed any maintenance or service schedule during the past period.
