Initially I really loved this vehicle and was planning on purchasing it at the end of the lease. The lease ends soon and I absolutely cannot wait to give it back. I take really good care of my car & there is equity in it. It looks as close to new as you’ll get without purchasing a new one. However, I will not buy crap & I’m tired of being ignored by Lexus! They want to sell it to you but after that...good riddance!!

I have been driving a Lexus for about ten years now. I started with RX350 but thought it was too big. Then I went to the IS250 which was a perfect size but too low and I missed the SUV. So I went for the NX200 which was great until the brake problem! I immediately called my local dealership to get my vehicle in even though I didn’t have an appointment. I initially thought that I was having engine problems & it was sputtering. My husband tried checking the oil but it’s not the normal & it’s locked up. You can’t just check the levels with a dipstick. You have to go to a dealer or mechanic. It was a weekend & I was afraid to drive it so I called the dealer first thing on a Monday to bring it in.

I dropped it off & gave them the information & was told no one knew about it he issue except for the mechanic that was working on another vehicle next to mine. He had the same problem with another vehicle just like mine & she left it overnight for them to “recreate” the problem. They told me it was the brakes & since the brakes are self cleaning it will go away after it releases!! Are you kidding me?! This is a freakin Lexus not a cheap ass car!!!! I was really upset about being dismissed like that!! THEY DON’T CARE!!!

I emailed corporate since I felt it was a recall issue & I thought they should be made aware of my problem. Well they informed my local & Kelly contacted me to say they were looking into it. I called her back & they are still collecting information!!!! WTF?!? How many freaking months does it take?! Lexus doesn’t give a crap because they are waiting for my lease to end next month! They have ignored me for months & I am so OVER THEM!, I TELL YOU - DO NOT BUY THIS VEHICLE!!
