Aviator

  • Automatic transmission
  • 112,000 miles

Had to replace the lower control arms again! NOTE: Lincoln and Ford consider this truck OBSELETE! Are no longer making parts for the Aviator! Willing to sell you another over priced truck!!! NO WAY! Had to find what I needed out of state!!!!!! Thanks Ford! You did not take the bail out money, but left us high and dry!!!! No parts available!!!!!!!

Aviator Premium 4.6L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

Seemed like a common replacement given the mileage. I also had the tires a bit overinflated, and I know from owning Ford vehicles that highly inflated tires tend to wear out suspension components faster.
