Consumer received burns from the heater located in the driver's seat. Dealer was notified. Incident occurred during a road trip from milwaukee to New York. Initially, consumer just wanted his hospital bills paid and the seat repaired/replaced. Ford denied the claim on the basis that the service manager at the dealership was unable to verify a manufacturer's defect. Consumer then took his claim to small claims court.
