The contact owns a 2013 Lincoln Mkt. The contact stated that the tail lights retained water. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired years ago for the same failure and was sealed. The failure recurred with a horizontal hairline fracture. The contact stated that the water must have entered the tail lights when he drove through a car wash or when it was raining. The failure recurred three times. The vehicle was taken to West hills Ford (1100 oyster bay ave S, bremerton, wa 98312, (360) 616-3277), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was informed that the warranty would not cover the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and did not assist. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.

The contact owns a 2013 Lincoln Mkt. While parked for approximately nine hours, the vehicle caught fire on the driver side tail light housing. The owner extinguished the fire. The fire department arrived after the fire was extinguished. A report was filed by the fire department. There were no injuries. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.
