The contact owns a 2015 Lincoln Mkt. The contact stated that the toe link fractured while travelling at 45 mph. The contact believes that the failure may have been due to NHTSA campaign number: 20V072000 (suspension). The driver lost control of the vehicle as the rear was fishtailing across a three lane highway late at night without any traffic. No injuries were sustained. The vehicle went right as a result of the back fishtailing to the left. The contact was then able to stop the vehicle and then pull over off the main highway. The vehicle was towed to the dealer maplecrest Ford Lincoln of union (2800 springfield ave suite 1, vauxhall, NJ 07088 (908) 964-7700) and they confirmed that it was the toe link that fractured. They repaired both toe links and charged the contact for the repairs even though the VIN was included in NHTSA campaign number: 20V072000 (suspension). The dealer said the contact would be reimbursed when they said it became a 'full blown' recall. The manufacturer had not been contacted yet except for the initial tow to the dealer.
