Mark LT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 147,575 miles

When my Lincoln Mark LT warms up after 15 minutes or so and you go to "slow down" to stop or to park, the engine changes its rhythm and sounds like a diesel (its a gas truck). I had to put a new transmission in as soon as I bought it at Back's Auction in Mt. Sterling, Ky. In the last month, I have put in a Throttle Positioning Sensor, a Camshaft Sensor, an aft _ Oxygen Sensor, the other Camshaft Sensor, the other aft Oxygen Sensor, and 1 of the 2 fore _ Oxygen Sensors. This truck RIDES and DRIVES EXCEPTIONALLY!!! I bought new tires and chrome rims and even with all the hail damage it had and as Harsh as it was treated, I hope I can get this fixed before it rust out on me. Its a beautiful truck even with the hail damage and I hope to have many years of travel with it.

Mark LT LT 5.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 97,000 miles

without any reason at all the engine will loose power and the message center will display. then the engine will die. after restarting the truck runs fine, although the throttle dose not feel the same. very low idle, around 450rpm. almost was t-boned by a semi while i had my wife, twin 3year old boys, my 6 week old baby girl and myself in the truck. i almost lose my entire family for something that should be recalled and for fixed by ford/Lincoln. i bought this vehicle used and is my 8 Ford/Lincoln i have owned and i can tell you that is action is not taken this will be the last Ford product that i will EVER buy!!!
