Three times now I have either hit the exterior lift gate opener, tried the interior liftgate opener and the key fob liftgate opener to no avail to open the liftgate. The only way to resolve this immediately was to turn the ignition on and then back off. I suspect that somehow the auto liftgate on the settings was unchecked (somehow thru the system, not something I did) and by stopping and starting the ignition, it reset to the default to auto open. I plan to check next time to see if this theory is correct.
