A rear seated passenger in my Lincoln Navigator is unable to physically reach the release lever in order to exit the vehicle. Another person must first release the seat in front to exit. As a father and a physician, this is a very scary situation. In an emergency, that rear passenger will be trapped back there. I was so concerned about this that I removed the console present between the "captain chair" in this oem configuration. Now my kids easily walk out. I received no help from the company in how to do this and have not heard from their engineers regarding this easily remedied problem. The simple fix is to reposition the release lever in a physically appropriate location. We do love the car otherwise. Please respond.
