CX-9 Touring V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,500 miles

Car sat for two days wouldn't start, told I should expect battery issue due to extremely cold weather. Used a trickle charger and got car started later that day. Scheduled service appointment with dealer.

CX-9 Touring V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,000 miles

After the first failure, dealer said it must be my fault, left something on that drained battery. Didn't think it required me to bring it in to have it checked. This time they took it in to look at it, dealer replaced the battery. Told I needed to the run the car at least every other day to keep the battery charged.

CX-9 Touring V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,350 miles

Called road service, they jumped battery, indicated I didn't drive the car often enough to allow the battery to recharge itself. First time in my fifty + years of driving to have an issue of this nature. Was there something left on that drained the battery? Don't think so...
