bad stains on door panels from minor rain when exiting car

I am very careful with taking care of my vehicles.. I purchased the Sport Grand Touring fully loaded Mazda 3 and after entering or exiting my vehicle quickly and carefully during light rain storms.. The rain has stained my interior pretty bad.. It basically looks like white drips all over the interior of the doors. For such an expensive vehicle, why is it so easily damaged?
