no heat on highway, only inner city Bravo to In Tune Mechanics, Oshawa, ON Canada! Their excellent research discovered 27 issues with heater:

1 thermostat 2 auxiliary water pump 23 electronic valve

As the thermostat and auxiliary water pump were working fine. 23 out of 27 complaints pointed to Electronic Valve, so by process of elimination we replaced it, as the next logical step vs replacing the heater control at previous quotes of $2500 to $3k CDN! Bingo! NOW, the heat is so plentiful, often times I'm turning it down! Kudo's to In Tune Mechanics for their fast, efficient and friendly service, I highly recommend them!
