From picking up the car from a dealership, the indicator lights only indicates to the left regardless if the combination switch is flicked up or down. Not sure how they have missed this from the vehicle safety check. But I have returned the car 3x - they have replaced the stalk switch with a Brand New from Mercedes Benz and yet the problem has not resolved.

When you travel in the freeway with trucks speeding left right centre, you will need to indicate where you will be going, having NO left indicator is such a danger to the road. It is considered UNROADWORTHY here in Australia and yet somehow they were able to sell it, but the fact that Merc had supplied a brand new stalk switch TWICE and still have not fixed the problem has caused so much disadvantage and issues with my lifestyle having 2 children and being actively involved in children's sports.
