the engine has piston slap

The noise became apparent after I had the motor mounts replaced at around 113,000 KM. I tried the Dealers, no one heard it or wanted to hear it. I finally found a person with over 30 years of product knowledge who identified it almost immediately. This was March 20, 2013. Since then The Mercedes Dealer said he referred it to the Factory and they wouldn't do anything about it.

I now have some 149,000 Km on the clock.

I will persist, but would welcome any one else that has had this issue.

Update from Jul 11, 2015: engine noise came in at 107,455 km. after the engine mounts were replaced. I was finally told told it is piston slap by a factory trained mechanic working in his own shop. Noise was louder when cold then when running hot. MB did not want to hear the noise, and written communication was largely ignored with we will trade your vehicle in.
