Okay so the check engine light came on DURING the test drive and the dealership said it was nothing and they would fix the problem. I took to dealer mechanic and he just reset the light and it came on again during the drive home. Took back to dealer and they said they would fix the issue which they said was a cam shaft issue. they had the car for three days and when i picked it up it was sluggish and jerked. I called the dealer and he said he would call the mechanic and see what he says. I called the mechanic directly and he said it was a big problem for 2006 E350 cars and that i would have this issue over and over even after he fixed it. I just purchased the car and the dealer said it was sold "as-is" I am calling BS on them and taking matter into my own hand. Nobody lies and cheats me like this. They screwed the wrong guy. Can you say REFUND?

I have a really good mechanic with who the local Mercedes Benz dealer sends their difficult cases. The mechanic cannot find anything wrong in terms of the transmission or any computer codes. He has driven the car and experienced the jerking and is MORE frustrated than me because he cannot figure it out. I don't want to purchase another vehicle and I do not want to get into another Mercedes after this although they may be the only retailer who will offer me something for the car. This is truly frustrating!!!
