This is one of several quality problems with this car that I wouldn't have expected from Mercedes. Replacing a door lock and a thermostat cost me $950 to fix after only 68000 miles. I bought a Mercedes because I wanted a reliable vehicle. This car doesn't meet that standard and I won't purchase another Mercedes because of it.
