Mercedes Benz states that it does not have parts available for a fuel line leaking problem which is subject to an outstanding NHTSA recall number 18V837. Mercedes Benz (877 762-8267) has not identified a schedule for the acquisition of the necessary parts or resolution of the problem. Mercedes Benz does not have a sense of urgency in the resolution of this problem and has stated that they would only send me a letter in the future on the availability of parts. Fuel line leaks can be deadly and, minimally, Mercedes Benz should have an interim resolution plan with dates to assure safety which also includes an expedited contact method.
