I drove to my mother's house just fine with no sign of problems and pulled into her driveway behind her vehicle (now blocking her in). Went back to the car to leave and the car is not detecting the key. A new yellow light with a key blinked and I thought maybe my battery in the i-key was low. I tried to put it into the holder and it still won't start. I got a new battery and still wont start. The cashier at Advanced Auto where I purchased the new FOB battery stated it could be a steering lock issue which may be an expensive repair. I'm upset because I cannot afford a $1000 repair plus towing. I'm now looking online and this seems to be a common issue with Nissans. I'm highly upset.
