Grand Marquis LS 4.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,000 miles

The vehicle running out of coolant while driving on the highway would cause. Terminal engine failure resulting in motor replacement as only fix! The engineers at Ford Motor Company decided to make an intake out of a plastic composite instead of aluminum or cast iron that has been used successfully for the last 100 years! Resulting in total part failure after 60-100 thousand miles or that is less than a 10 year life expectancy. When I purchase a vehicle I expect more than 10 years out of IT.
