Defective part on the steering wheel was replaced at 111,000 miles, the vehicle is now at 176,000 miles and the part needs replaced again. Power assist mechanism. We have no power steering. Ford said they won't replace it, it had already been done. Need to know what to do next.

As we drive when we go into a right or left curve it acts like the front wheels lock up for just a few seconds. I had a recall on it back in late summer I had taken it to tri-lake Ford in branson Missouri they said they fixed the problem but is still doing the same thing. Please check and see if there is anything that can be don before it causes an accident or I get stranded beside the road. Thank you for your help.
