The passenger door was checked and was found to not lock when using the interior button or fob(while traveling out of town at a motel). A corner of the interior passenger plastic chrome coated handle was broken off causing the malfunction.Had to empty the valuables out of the car until repaired.The dealership could not get to it for 2 weeks, but we had to drive to a camp in a week to stay there for 7 days.So I finally found a repair place that could order the plastic handle from the factory (since it was not stocked at the local dealership).The part was installed in a half hour for only $125.00. If this is a common problem why are these not made of aluminum or stainless steel? Loss of security was the main effect of this occurrence, and expense.
