This car has excessive under body rust under all the wheels wells. I was just told that my car would not pass a State Inspection because the on the front drivers side there is a bracket that holds up the engine is almost totally gone. I have read and over that this vehicle has a known rust and corrosion issue and Mercury/Ford has not been made responsible. I bought this car from a Ford Dealer in Aberdeen, MD used in 2018 and made them aware that I noticed rust on the rear wheel panels. They told me there is no recall however now I am not in a position to purchase or fix the entire under carriage of this vehicle. And I do not feel safe that an important bracket supporting the engine is totally rusted out.

Front lower sub frame rust through in aria under A/C, close to point of braking. Seams to be a comin problem as my repair shop said they replace three or four a year. Some have broken while on road causing steering problems.this apparently happens when the vehicles are about ten years old.# found on inspection.

Just bought this vehicle 1/25/2018. It has a moldy smell. How can I tell if it is a flood vehicle? it also has a air leak in the front windshield, that I can hear, when driving. This vehicle, was from Louisiana. I will contact the dealer, Monday morning about the windshield.
