Went to hit the brakes to keep myself from hitting a deer. The brakes totally failed, then engaged after I pumped it the second time. The car felt like it went into neutral when the brakes failed. Well I hit the deer. Cost me a $1000.00 for my part of the insurance claim to get fixed. Took the car to Vanderhyde Ford in Cedar Springs Michigan to have brakes fixed. They run my vin it says I have anti-lock brakes but technician says no anti-lock and also couldn't find a problem.
