I started my car and two idiot lights went on. The engine light and a wrench light. The throttle body part went bad. I had my car towed to the closest Mercury dealership. Which is weisler dealership on bridge ave, in point pleasant, NJ the want to charge me $425 for the part replacement and $275 for labor. I will have a $700 bill for a part that Ford has had many problems with and recalls on. I would like someone to look into this and please get back to me. I will also be contacting the Ford headquarters in ca. My name is [xxx]. cell number: [xxx]. thank you for looking into this situation. I love the car but do not feel comfortable after reading all the complaints from Ford customers concerning the throttle body part problem. Ford folks need to look into this part.
