I was coming up on an exit ramp about to get on the highway and the car just started shaking and all of the dashboard lights came on, it would not accelerate past 5 MPH, I was able to crawl to a side road, turned the car off and started it backup. I then got on the highway and headed home, about 10 miles down the highway it did the same thing, I pulled over on the shoulder and went through the same process and was able to make it home.

I called a local mechanic and made an appointment and then I was researching the issue online and found all kinds of people with the same issue, I then found the Field Service Actions on Ford's website for my car; I took my car to the dealer and they fixed it for free. I do think that this issue could cause and fatal or serious accident depending on the time and place when this issue happens.
