Well, I have been getting "door ajar" messages all the time for many months. Every time it rains I get this message plus the indoor lighting does not go off. Lately, the car alarm keeps going off constantly for no reason. I had the alarm issue fixed about 1.5 years ago and it appears to be back. I am sick and tired of having one expensive repair after another with this piece of junk I bought in 2003. It has its third transmission. I had to put a new engine in it March/2016 because i would not qualify to buy a new vehicle because I was and am out of work. I decided to keep the car because it was paid for and I have been looking for steady income for quite some time. Anyway, because of the circumstances I ended up putting more $$$ in to this piece of junk than if I were to have bought a new car with payments every month!!!! Leasing would probably be the best way to go if I could afford it! In the long run, you save $$$$! Never have to worry about car repairs again!!!!! I will NEVER BUY A MERCURY OF FORD PRODUCT EVER AGAIN IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!
