problem #2

Feb 012019

Cooper 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 76,000 miles

There have been many complaints regarding this problem. The Mini dealer tells me too bad because it is out of warrantee, even though it only has 76,000 miles.

problem #1

Feb 052016

Cooper

  • Automatic transmission
  • 19,298 miles

The problem was confirmed by the dealer as a faulty passenger side airbag mat sensor. And the 2009 Mini has not been recalled for this issue. It has been at the dealer since february waiting for a replacement part. It is now August 2016 and the part just arrived. The manufacturer has had problems manufacturing the part!! The part has just arrived. Now the car has a dead battery since its been idle for 7 months, and I still dont have my car back because either the dealer, Mini, BMW hasnt made a decision whether its going to replace it or not. And because it has not been recalled I have to pay for this repair. I have tried to negotiate with BMW, and they have agreed to split the cost. This is a disgrace, and as a consumer I find this is the only place to note the problem.
