Another one of those 'this is common in Mini's' issue. Standard use of car - not excessive and well below expected mileage for the year of car.

Clutch failed to a point needing a complete replacement, and even affected the gearbox - needing repairs and welding.

Mini's seem to have this ever increasing list of common faults that garages seem to be aware of.

Some of these items are dangerous and the manufacturer (BMW) should take responsibility for and the government vehicle standards agencies to be made accountable for.
