The H-vac system does not work. When air conditioning is used water seeps into the floorboard and completely soaks the floor and mat, which creates a very rank odor. To correct this problem it will cost the consumer approximately $800. This is clearly an engineer defect/flaw. We were told by an Mitsubishi service rep that the following year (2005) it was corrected. Obviously Mitsubishi was aware of this problem. Why wasn't a recall done on this problem" I think it certainly warrants one. How many other people have been affected by this? why should the consumer assume costs for something that was not made correctly? I am baffled, as to why a car corporation would not take care of their customers"
