The contact owns a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. While driving various speeds, the vehicle veered in both directions. The contact had to steer the vehicle in excess in order to keep the vehicle in position. In addition, when passengers or items were in the rear of the vehicle, it lowered and the undercarriage scraped bumps in the road. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 300.

This vehicle was bought as a new vehicle on a local dealership, cabrera auto, at arecibo, pr on 05/03/2015. On 05/08/2015, while driving on the highway at approximately 55 mph, the vehicle randomly pulled left or right, unable to keep it on a straight line. On instances during changing lanes were there are division lines on the road or when driving over road irregularities or bumps, the instability of the vehicle was so noticeable to the point of feeling at risk during driving, afraid to loose control at any time. By this time the vehicle was about 200 miles reading. By May 29, 2015, while parked in my home's garage, I noticed that the vehicle was tilted (height was lower on the drivers side). I checked the basics (leveled floor, even air pressure of the tires) and measured the height from the floor to the chassis, finding the driver's side about 3/4" lower than the passengers side. The issue was reported to the vendor and service department. After many days of calling and claiming, the service department did not make the proper evaluation and concluded vaguely that the vehicle was fine. By this time the vehicle was about 1000 miles reading. On July 29, 2015 the vehicle was diagnosed on a service center, finding misalignment of the front steering system. In addition, the service center performed a reprogramming of the PCM engine module according to tsb 15-13-001, for which I don't have an explanation. Currently the vehicle has a 5500 miles reading. Alignment and stability seems to be solved, but it is under monitoring. Tilt or inclination issue is still pending. The justification provided about the vehicle's tilt is that all vehicles come with some defects from manufacturer and I should consider it normal. When sold, the vehicle had been on dealership storage since Sep-2014 until sold on may-2015.
