problem #2

Dec 152019

Outlander ES 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 37,000 miles

I purchased the truck in July 2019 with 34,000 miles nothing but starting problems why does the battery dies... I don't leave anything on... In August 2019, the truck failed to start and I had a jump. I put a new battery in it, and it was working fine until it started again. I contacted Mitsubishi Motors in California about reimbursement... it was denied.

The truck failed to start again at 36,500 miles so I brought it to the Mitsubishi dealer to diagnose the problem, and they couldn't find anything... And it FAILED to start on Dec 16, 2019. I AM SO DONE WITH THIS BULLS***... is there a recall on something about this problem? I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER MITSUBISHI... THEY SUCK. I called MITSUBISHI ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, and they say it will cost me $61.00 for a jump... seriously...

Update from Jan 17, 2020: DO NOT BUY THIS CAR... BAD ISSUES WITH THE BATTERY IN COLD WEATHER.

Update from Jan 21, 2020: BUY A BATTERY JUMPER SO YOU DON'T GET STRANDED IN COLD WEATHER OR A TRICKLE CHARGER... THE MITSUBISHI ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE IS A JOKE - YOU'RE BETTER OFF GETTING AAA... WHICH IS A HELL OF A LOT FASTER AND QUICKER.
