My electrical system and/or computer brain is not operating properly. About a year and 1/2 ago the low beam passenger light stopped working. I had the bulb replaced at Walmart. 2 months later it went out again. Walmart checked and said the bulb was not the problem so I went to Firestone and was told the wiring was melted. Firestone said my options were to replace the entire harness or pig tail the low beam. I opted for the pig tail. A few months later I had issues with slow starts as if my battery was being drained. A few weeks after that my drivers side low beam started working intermittently. Then went out completely. I went to Gillman dealership in Schertz, TX (330 miles from my home) who said the bulb needed to be replaced which they did. A month later the drivers low beam is out again. Firestone says the wiring has melted on that side too. This time I asked them not to fix it because I wanted to go back to the dealership to repair. 1 week later my battery died twice and the passenger low beam has stopped working again. A mechanic advised that a few years ago he worked on a 2012 Mitsubishi with the same issues and ended up totaling it out because the car-??s computer was not modulating voltage properly. He said that car-??s computer was not reading the codes correctly and was outputting voltages that did not match the Outlanders configuration. I was told there is a recall for this already. I wanted information on this before contacting the Texas State Attorney General-??s Consumer Protection Office.

hello: i purchased this vehicle last nov. the rear hatch was opening fine, " but after a couple of months it has stopped and the only way to open it, " is from the lever on the inside. you have to use a screw driver or prying tool of some sort to remove the cover in order to get to the lever and you have to lay the back seats down and crawl back there to get to this. i've spoken to other owners who have the same issue. they've had to replace either and or both the actuator and the handle tailgate lock release mechanism. the handle tailgate lock release mechanism is electrical and is susceptible to water getting into it and corrodes the electrical parts. it sits mostly flush one the outside of the hatch where water can get too it. i feel this is a safety issue incase of an accident or emergency if it is imperative to gain access. also the design of the so called emergency release lever is terrible. some people might not have a screw driver or something to pry with in order to remove the cover in order to gain access to the release lever. in my opinion (1)the emergency lever needs to be redisgned and have easier access to it.(2) replace the acutator and or the handle tailgate lock release. it could cost owners up tp $400 to replace these item at a dealership, " unless they would want to tackle it themselves. i feel it's worth looking into. thankyou for your time and any help.

Hi, help please help car dealer rip off. North palm Mitsubishi owner manager guy, sold me 3 cars. One financed through santanler 2011 Nissan altama. I went to work part time to stay mentally healthy as disabled since 1995 I was 35 yr old florsheim executive. I was rear ended& double head-on collision. My car 3 months old 3000 miles on it. Npm guy mgr offered no help in getting me any type of transportation. "I need $1000 down payment to get you into another car." "extra funds"" mr [xxx]. you have treated my people so badly after I did you a favor in financing you.2nd month I missed having transportation. Now by missing house payment to take care of my health again very physically sick man if not taken care of....... I cannot be without a vehicle, I was given 1 car to purchase out of 75 in the lot 4 of which were outlanders under 15000 under 40,000 miles & less. I asked guy to please keep payments under $350. Payment $417. I saw a warning code acs failure meaning ABS not working, & power assist steering also not working.the wipers came on all by themselves. Npbm did not tow this unsafe car, I paid to have it taken back to dealer for yet another 10 shop stay no transportation. This whole operation needs to be investigated as just noticed that passenger side front carpet still had new carpet plastic covering after 6 years" corrupt selling salvaged re titled vehicles is my guess. Mitsubishi turned their back when I in formed them as if the less they know the better. In my success in business customer service comes first. Along with honesty and no degradation or taken advantage of and the owner of R & B llc is not even close to being a fair business man. Please please help me. Sincerely, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Over night, my battery died. When I tried to turn the car on, the windshield whispers would go crazy, radio would turn on, but not the car. Purchased a new battery, car is only 3 yrs old. The new battery is being drained now. When the car is off, the radio turns on and off by itself, the fog lights strobe, and there is a beeping noise. The dealership teased everything and found that it is the ECU (electrical control unit) which is on recall for my make, year, and model, but not for my car based off the VIN. It is exactly what was going wrong in other vehicles exactly my year, make, and model, but not according to my VIN #.
