The part that hold the hood latch down rusted out at the base causing the hood to partially release while driving. Had to have the bottom welded.

Bracket that holds hood latch, and is attached by a bolt to the frame under the radiator, rusted out. The bracket became loose and the hood would not fully close. I was told that the hood could release while driving.
