Altima GLE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 298,000 miles

Like many others have mentioned, this is a pain in the ass. This not so expensive part is causing all of this trouble. I can't pass emission because of it and I'm just plain out mad about it. Nissan needs to do better. Intake manifold gasket on all of these cars need a recall ASAP

Altima GXE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

Two Years ago, it had found lean burn already, but still pass CA smog check. This year, first Engine Check Light is on with code P0171. Then I clean the MAP sensor. Then the idle become rough with code P0304. The garage guys said it is Intake gasket leak and shows me that when spaying some cleaner, the idle becomes higher and smooth. The cost to fix is about $700.
