Was told by the dealer that they had received a service bulletin regarding this problem but not enough complaints for a recall. Nice huh? Evidently fairly common problem with this particular vehicle and quite an expensive fix. Had to pay the dealer $84.00 just to diagnose it then repair estimate of $378.00. Last Nissan for me !

Service Engine Soon light came and nothing appeared to be wrong. When I went to fill up my car, the gas kept bubbling back out. Eventually got it filled up and everything ran ok. The light went out after about a week. Filled up with gas again and had no problems. A couple days later the light came back on again and again I could not hardly fill up the tank. It is now doing this off and on and yet there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the engine. Any suggestions?
