Altima 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 189,000 miles

I have a 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5 , When I'm driving on the interstate and my car gets up to 70 mph it starts jerking , slows all the way down and it also have a bad pop with it. Once it gets down to 60 mph I can go back up to 70 mph ," No Faster " and this is really getting on my last nerve.....I took it to the shop so many times to get fix and all I'm doing is spending my money and it's still not solving the problem. I have had it put on the machine and the same codes keep popping up, get them fixed and get the code cleared and in a week it's back to doing the same damn thing. Also I have had tune up and core packs changed and NOTHING... I'm so tired of spending money and it's not fixing the problem. I have also talked to other Altima owners and they are having the same problem. I need HELP .......

Altima 2.5S V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 141,000 miles

This is the second time my check engine light came on for this problem. When I took it to the Nissan dealer they told me that even though I had replaced the crank sensor that I had to do the cam sensor at the same time or it cancels each other out! Oh my goodness how annoying.

Altima 2.5s

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

Car loses the power. Even in drive mode, car does not move forward. When a gas pedal was pressed, it feels like there is no thrust. When I took to Nissan dealer, I was told that crank sensor went bad. Few months later, same car started jerking in drive mode. It feels like it's about to stop right in the middle of the road. When I took to Nissan dealer, I was told that one of spark plugs wire went bad. I had to spend again for that. Recently, I am seeing the same issue. My car is starting to jerk while in drive mode. I am really upset with this Nissan car. This is my first and last Nissan car.
