Altima SE-R 3.5L V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 133,000 miles

A few months ago, I had the front struts, mounts, bushings and bearing plates replaced with Monroe OE Spectrum struts and the rear shocks with the same brand, along with all the mounting components. Total cost for parts and labor was around $500 or so and its been downhill from there. My car has acquired an awful annoying squeaking noise from the front end, as if bushings are worn out or need greasing, or some rubber component is shifting around somehow but its irritating as hell. Moving along, every thing that is bolted in the vehicle rattles and vibrates to no end as if everything is about to break apart. Even the seats, armrests, windows and consoles all rattle. Once you exit the car and slam the door, the door chirps/squeaks when it closes and latches and its SO ANNOYING! Grease failed to help out the dilemma might I add. So I don't know what is causing this all to happen. Its like my vehicle is falling apart more every day. And its sad because there is no rust at all on it and I live in the northeastern part of Pennsylvania, but was frequently. So Im baffled. Nothing ever lasts and its depressing to know that you pay 22,000 for a car and it doesn't even last for more than a few years. Perhaps it was just Nissan's poor materials and engineering that left an open door to this gradual demolition of my vehicle. Im not happy, and I think Nissan ought to reconcile our oil consumption problems instead of trying to keep ahead of the curve that is its vehicle owners and their appetite for compensatory relief. Count me in, Im more than ready..
