Altima SE 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 179,000 miles

nissan altimas are a piece of sh*t i would tell any body not to get them there no good on motor nor transmission or wheel hub it continues to go out repeatly and i think nissan needs to do something about it before someone gets killed or really bad injured

problem #2

Altima 2.4L

  • Manual transmission
  • 194,564 miles

This is the worst car. While driving, after idling or in traffic, the car will lose pressure to the clutch pedal and the car refuses to go into any gear. I had to pull over after getting side swiped by a truck, let the car sit for awhile, then crank it up and the pedal has pressure and the car drives fine. Nissan needs to recall this issue before someone gets killed or before it turns into a "Toyota" episode.

Altima S 2.5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

This was the second time they replaced the transmission, but the fourth time the car was out of service over 4 months since the other repairs they had to do to fix the mistakes they made. There was also a time when a sensor had to be replaced, prior to this transmission being put in, but the car was not kept. Each time a repair is done under the warranty we pay the $50 deductible so by now we have paid $200 in deductibles
